Spring forward with our bloggers

spring-forward

Did you spring forward? Yep, it’s already time to lose an hour and enjoy more sunshine, at least for a while). Our weather in the Bay area is going to be nice this week and I’m looking forward to us drying out and enjoying our usual sunny, blue sky California days.

Speaking of enjoying, I’d love for you to visit these interesting bloggers–here’s a taste of what’s going on over at their blogs.

Laurie

A strange thing happened to Laurie the other day. She went to take her terrier Libby for their daily stroll. Gathering leash and harness, she tried to put them on, but Libby hung back. It was cold out which usually doesn’t bother the dog, but today Libby decided, meh. Usually, Laurie would put the gear away and walk the next day. But she realized she wanted—no, she needed—to go anyway. She saw how walking gives five great benefits…

Rita

Although March isn’t the best month for sales during the year, compare prices to see if you can find a deal on winter sports items and clothing, travel gear, garden tools, cleaning supplies, cruises, and more, advises Rita R. Robison, consumer and personal finance journalist. You might even find pie for $3.14 on Pi Day and a discount on Saint Patrick’s Day.

Rebecca

March is Women’s History Month and Rebecca Olkowski, with BabyBoomster.com, wrote a post to highlight brands that were founded and owned by successful women. We’ve come a long way, Baby, so let’s not go back to how it was in the past.

Meryl

Retirement rocks for many reasons, according to Meryl Baer of Musings of a Shore Life. She relates one experience in this week’s post that justifies the feeling.

Happy spring forward day, everyone!
