Off with our nephew to Monterey just after dawn for some early morning whale-watching. Hoping the blues are close-in feeding on krill this morning. This particular whale-watch boat has a biologist on board, always fun when a professional shares info we wouldn’t otherwise learn. We’ll lunch somewhere in Monterey County, maybe even Big Sur.
