As I said yesterday, I stand with groups of very educated, credible architects, engineers, pilots and scholars, who believe that the result of the official 9/11 investigation does not match the evidence.

My whole career involved working with architects, engineers and scholars. I know some pilots. I believe in science and the engineering. I do not believe in politics.

So what drives me to ask the question is that people who make their livings off science and engineering, and in the case of pilots, whose lives depend on it, are asking questions. So are retired military officers, to my surprise.

What exactly happened? I don’t know. But I do know that things did not happen the way the official story says it did.

There is a surprising number of groups of disbelieving professionals organized to call for the truth. Here are a few of them:

• Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth
• Scholars for 9/11 Truth

How about this:

“Scholars and professionals with various kinds of expertise—including architects, engineers, firefighters, intelligence officers, lawyers, medical professionals, military officers, philosophers, religious leaders, physical scientists, and pilots—have spoken out about radical discrepancies between the official account of the 9/11 attacks and what they, as independent researchers, have learned.

They have established beyond any reasonable doubt that the official account of 9/11 is false and that, therefore, the official “investigations” have really been cover-up operations.”

(PhD in Aeronautics and Nuclear Engineering, Cal Tech). Former Head of the Department of Aeronautical Engineering and Assistant Dean at the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology. 22-year Air Force career. Taught Mathematics and English at the University of Southern California, the University of Maryland, and Phillips University.

Oh, wait. He also said this, on camera:

“A lot of these pieces of information, taken together, prove that the official story, the official conspiracy theory of 9/11 is a bunch of hogwash. It’s impossible. … There’s a second group of facts having to do with the cover up. … Taken together these things prove that high levels of our government don’t want us to know what happened and who’s responsible.…

Who gained from 9/11? Who covered up crucial information about 9/11? And who put out the patently false stories about 9/11 in the first place? When you take those three things together, I think the case is pretty clear that it’s highly placed individuals in the administration with all roads passing through Dick Cheney.”

Parents of some of the victims, especially those who died in WTC-7, have begun to publicly question the official story.

Of course, some of the individual pieces of evidence are weak, and might not support their hypothesis. Some are outside our frame of reference, our belief structure. It would be a real stretch to believe them. Even though they are compelling. {Let us remember that over the centuries people have come to believe many things that were originally outside their frame of reference.}

But much of the evidence is strong. Very strong.

“Look at the forest, even though you’re tempted to focus on individual trees,” these professionals point out. The entire scenario just screams that something other than the official story happened.

My own questioning of the official story began even before the dust settled at Ground Zero, when I saw this in the Sept. 24, 2001 edition of Newsweek magazine:
On Sept. 10, NEWSWEEK has learned, a group of top Pentagon officials suddenly canceled travel plans for the next morning, apparently because of security concerns.

I remember it distinctly. It made my brow furrow and my stomach churn. It was my first clue that maybe something other than a surprise attack occurred.

And then, all of a sudden, it began to look like we were in a police state. The government kept us in a state of fear, with advice about gas masks, duct tape and storing food. Yes, all of that seems almost quaint, 10 years later. But at the time, it was terrifying.

When I heard that we’d named a department “Homeland Security” I realized how far the manipulation was going.

Then our rights began to erode.

Let’s talk for a minute about whistleblowers. We certainly have heard a lot about them. Enron. RJ Reynolds. Many famous whistleblowers.

So, it’s reasonable to ask why we haven’t heard anything in the media about the 9/11 whistleblowers.

Nothing. Nada. And there are several FBI whistleblowers on 9/11.

Usually, I don’t like the term citizen-journalists. Usually, the filter of the media serves the truth. But not always. It appears that in this case, the media filter has failed.

The internet has allowed citizens the ability to find evidence of inconsistencies…a mountain of evidence.

Where there should be none.

If the official story were true.

Even if you think it’s all crazy talk, the fact that so many professionals are stepping up to question the official story is certainly newsworthy. Crazy talk is always newsworthy today. Isn’t it curious that no major news outlet has covered it? At all? Even to completely debunk it?

And respected former Sen. Max Cleland, a decorated and disabled war veteran, resigned from the official body investigating Sept. 11, the 911 Commission, calling it “a scam” and “whitewash.”

We are now starting to see glimmers of media coverage of those who do not believe the official version. Here’s a 9/11 parent:

You’ll have to draw your own conclusion.

Look at the HUGE amount of evidence, official and otherwise, accessible online.

What I find so troublesome is that even if I discount half or even 75 percent or more of the evidence on these websites, the remaining evidence STILL shows major and significant discrepancies in the official story.

I leave it to you to decide for yourself what it means. My point is that we should never swallow anything our government tells us whole. Especially regarding 9/11 and how we got to war.
