A pet name

May 18, 2009

Petunia was a pet name my mother often used in the 1950s and the 1960s.

I’d like to channel her for guidance on this real estate stuff.

Although the dollar numbers we use in the 21st century would boggle her mind.

  1. Alan says:

Where is the house? It is a buyer’s market so it can come down to a game of “chicken.”

  2. It’s not that simple in this case. The owners have already dropped the price significantly, don’t have to sell because they are wealthy and they have half a million more into the house than they have listed. They’ve turned down 3 offers from others already.
So it’s not as simple as a buyer’s market and chicken….but then again, it never is…
