A wonderful day

July 24, 2009

It was a wonderful day. Besides the new dog trainer working with us, my friends and I had a lovely dinner at Mitchell’s. I ate more green beans than I thought possible and they were delicious.

Not as delicious as the hot bread and butter my husband enjoyed. But good.

He goes back to Coral Gables in a couple hours to manage his estate sale this weekend. We are in the final throes of figuring out our timing and decisions.

And to complicate things, our realtor found a pretty cool home in California. But we have to get through this weekend before we decide if we want to zip in and see it.

I love when he’s here. I hate when he has to go back. But on this return, he empties his house, which is not just a step but a giant leap forward.

He’s amazing, you know.
