About judgment

June 28, 2012
It’s a shame we don’t meet there more often these days,
but we don’t.
We can’t seem to find that field.
Today we can pick and choose our information sources
so we need never be exposed
to anything that doesn’t already fit our preconceived notions
of whatever.
We can sit self-righteously in our judgment
if we want to.
Often, we choose to.
And then, there’s the way we wish things were,
which would be “clear cut”
or
“black and white”
and there’s the way they
REALLY are,
which is contradictory and confusing.
Not linear.
Not sensible.
What a relief it would be to meet in that field
at least once in a while.
