“Actions always do speak louder than words.”
YES.
I have found that denial of this is usually by those who cannot be honest about their thoughts or feelings with others, ala people pleasers. People who seem to think their ‘dishonesty’ is a lesser evil/hurt, or they don’t wish others to think badly of them.
If you think about it, it’s also a form of gaslighting. E.g. someone notices another’s actions do not match their words and tries to raise it, and the reply is “oh no, it’s not like that at all”. Crazy making.
I have to say I do watch how a person lives their life rather than just listening to them and accepting it as fact.
Yes! Action speaks volumes.
I’ve spent my entire life observing people…actions always speak louder than words because you finally know who people really are.
