Is there an alternate universe? or is it time for the home?

alternative-universe Physicists have been buzzing about multiverses for a while now, even though an alternate universe (or two or three or 10 million) is still a bit too complicated for the regular person to understand. How is it possible that there can be multiple realities?

If physicists say so, it has to be true, and this story may provide evidence.

When I received a perfect holiday gift from a good friend, she told me that she had enlisted my husband’s help.

“Remember when I asked you to have Michael call me? And secretly, he sent me photos of the dogs.”

Ummm…I don’t remember her request. And that worried me.

“Michael, do you remember calling R?” I asked.

“No,” he said.

“Or sending her dog photos?” I pressed.

“I don’t,” he responded.

Oh dear. Now I was worried. Neither of us had any memory of this. But she was certain the whole thing happened. Could it be time for us to enter the memory home?

Or, is here an alternate reality where that exact episode had happened (and HIllary was president. But I digress) but we, in this reality, had no experience of it?

“I should search my phone for emails or texts to her,” Michael said.

Pause.

“It’s time for the home,” he said. “I talked to her on Sept. 23.”

Well, we are crazy and busy. And this freaked us out! But I look at that drawing every single day multiple times and I love it. No better gift.

If there is an alternative universe, I believe it is our loved ones who have died and are looking after us. It doesn’t righten me. As for the memory thing–when you are preoccupied and at the moment your life is BUSY, you just don’t STORE things as well. It doesn’t mean you’re ready for any home, but your own. Hugs, Beth

According to the MCU there is a Spiderverse. Translation, according to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there are alternate universes and Spiderman recently found out about them.
