Another hurricane season. That’s when we see maps like this on the local news more often than we’d like.

Time to get the flashlights ready. Buy extra water. Check the battery supply. Find the radio. And locate the old-school telephone that actually rings like the old days and doesn’t require electrical power.

And time to clean out the one walk-in closet to make room for Riley and my emergency shelter (the only enclosed place in the house without glass..except maybe the hall in front of the laundry closet.)
