Ask for it

July 8, 2010

This applies in many circumstances.

It definitely applies if you’re having trouble with debt. It’s tempting to ignore the problem until it’s way too big to ignore. But that just makes it worse.

I am also a big believer in working with a therapist if needed and then checking in periodically for a tuneup. Preventive maintenance.

If you’re having trouble finding a job, ask for help from friends. Besides networking for openings, knowledgeable friends can help you re-cast your resume, prepare for interviews and even practice.

There are many avenues of help available today. If you need it, just ask for it.
