If you haven’t heard, that nut-job Glenn Beck made fun of Malia Obama, the 11-year old daughter of our president. Here it is, embedded at the link below.
Shameful. Shameful that he did it and shameful that Faux News permitted it. Then again, it’s Faux News and that’s what they do.
The only thing that gives me any hope at all for America is that his audience immediately objected.
Then, in his own imitable way, he issued a tepid apology. Tepid at best. Here it is:
In discussing how President Obama uses children to shield himself from criticism, I broke my own rule about leaving kids out of political debates. The children of public figures should be left on the sidelines. It was a stupid mistake and I apologize–and as a dad I should have known better.
“Uses children to shield himself from criticism.” Yeah. A guy talkin’ about his daughter.
I’m sorry. I can’t help it:
F*** you, Glenn Beck. (Oh, that felt good.)
Actually, my other hope is that these right-wing crazies will reveal themselves as the morons they are over time….. if we just give them enough rope.
And no, I won’t give equal time to any other opinion nor will I apologize for calling a nut-job a nut-job. Or for telling him to F*** off.
