Bog men gay?

June 12, 2010

A few years ago, a couple bodies of murdered Iron Age men in their 20s were recovered from peat bogs in Ireland. This was a HUGE archeological find and we saw them on exhibit today at the National Museum in Dublin.

Evidence was found indicating this one used an early form of hair gel to get his hair to stand up. (Honest.)

The other one had manicured nails and stood 6’6″.

Both had been tortured and killed around 152 B.C. to 375 B.C.

Given the evidence, my husband believes these to be the first recorded cases of gay bashing.
