Nothing conveys happy feelings, love and best wishes better than flowers.

I love jewelry, but give me a gorgeous bouquet, simple, but beautiful, and I’ll follow you anywhere. Roses and gerber daisies: two favorites.

I love this small arrangement of roses in a square vase. Simple, modern, artfully arranged with mostly flower heads, it reeks of romance and love.

For our party, I’m looking at doing a few of these, but smaller, for our cocktail tables. Tiny, square glass vases with a couple of bloom heads. Then other tables might have taller bud vases. (All tables will have candles, of course.)

Gerbera daisies have a message of their own. Happy flowers in bright oranges, pinks, reds and yellows, they’re a celebratory gift.

Flowers. Men, take heed: you can’t go wrong with them.
