You can have your calendar on your phone. Me? I like to actually SEE the entries and so for me, there’s nothing like a stylish and fun calendar. I have the wavy-striped one above, which is academic and will last yet another year, yay! But here are some very cool calendars you’ll want to consider. Prices are between $12.95 and $30, depending on your choice, so no doubt you’ll find an affordable gift.
If you’re like me, then you are taking advantage of stationery stores while they still exist. My favorite-favorite is Paper Source, and all of today’s calendars can be found at their stores or on online. These darling desk calendars (above) come with a clear plastic stand. All sorts of designs.
My friend, Susan, loves her French bulldogs and this calendar would’ve been perfect for her. They may still sell a current version of it. There were also cat styles (of course.)
Sorry, the calendar on my phone simply does not compare to the pleasure of looking at these drawings every day.
This comes in one piece, but could be cut apart and put in one of those stands. Way too cute.
A thoughtful friend gave me one of these several years ago.
I love that Paper Source is still around, despite the move away from paper, and try to patronize it as much as possible. Its retail stores also feature lots of novelty gifts that are affordable: unique little novelty books and games, accessories. Their cards, however, are awfully pricey. But I’ve been guilty of buying them.
Paper Source. Find one near you and wallow in their modern aesthetic. See you there! (Again, no money changed hands except for what I paid to buy cute gifts.)
I love calendars! I have a few “hanging” around every year. I do use my phone calendar but make sure that the paper and mobile are both in sync. This way if I’m out and someone has to schedule something (doctor/dentist/lunch) I can check my phone to make sure there are no comflicts … then add to both. I love seeing the “boxes” full of things that have happened.
I always make one calendar from pictures of my cats, but I need a calendar in more than one room and in all honesty, one cat calendar even my own adorable cats, is enough!
I am a calendar addict and I love the kind where you can put your to do list on and chart appointments. I haven’t heard of this company before so thanks for the information.
Here you’ll find my blog, some of my essays, published writing, and my solo performances. There’s also a link to my Etsy shop for healing and grief tools offered through A Healing Spirit.
I love comments, so if something resonates with you in any way, don’t hesitate to leave a comment on my blog. Thank you for stopping by–oh, and why not subscribe so you don’t miss a single post?

There is nothing like a calendar to write things in and cross things off of. It’s so visusal. They make me feel a little giddy.
Nice calendars. I must say I miss having a pretty calendar to look at.

Glad to see there are so many of us who still like the “real thing”!
