Crazy writers, enthusiasm & exclamation points!!!!!

Crazy Writer is what this is called, and it’s an apt term
for a writer who uses exclamation points to express
enthusiasm.

Enthusiasm and strong feelings should be inferred from the scene.
Exclamation points are only rarely used in dialogue or narrative.

This is one of my writing pet peeves.
In case you were wondering.

Save exclamation points for personal letters and emails.
If you still write them.

(It would be a waste of a character to put an exclamation point in a tweet.
Yes, I’m being sarcastic. I think Twitter is
the dumbest thing ever!!!)
