I love these orange, angel-food cupcakes topped with whipped cream and orange zest.

One of my little pet peeves is heaps of cupcake icing so tall you can’t bite into the treat. This whipped cream is perfect. And orange? Mmm.

Angel food is one of my favorite desserts. It’s light — hardly a sin at all — and you can do so much with it.

Plus, who wouldn’t love something called angel food?

Do you think angels really eat it? I do.

Note: Try adding berries or stone fruit and some lowfat frozen yogurt to a slice of angel food cake. Mix it all together, just a bit mushed up. Bliss. Sin-free. (Ok, a venial one, at worst.)
