Dance. Now.

September 2, 2016

dance-nowExcuses. So many excuses for not living fully.  For not taking time to dance now.

I have to work.

I can’t take time off.

I don’t have the money.

or I don’t want to spend the money.

I’m too busy with other things.

I don’t feel well.

I’m too tired.

I’m depressed.

I’m too shy.

Time speeds by.  Pretty soon life gets away from us. We look up and we’re older and maybe starting to get infirm or fearful of adventure.

dance-nowDon’t let that happen.

Because most of the time?

Where there’s a will, there’s a way.

Life is meant to be celebrated!

What are you waiting for?

Dance! Dance now!

Starting today.

Dance your heart out.

Because you don’t want to realize when it’s too late that you could have been dancing all along.

This card is part of an entire series called Women of the Hourglass by my friend and fabulous artist, Marylou Falstreau. You can see all her wonderful, inspirational products here. Prints, cards and so much more. All very affordable!

What a wonderful sentiment to add! (And I love the card as well!)

I love how positive you are Carol. I love the idea of us all dancing to the beat of our own midlife drums and not giving a toss what others think. Lovely artwork too.

A lovely sentiment full of truth. Gorgeous image by your artist friend.

I LOVE this! Husby and I work as Santa and Mrs. every Christmas time and his fondest memory is of a little 9 year old dancer who climbed up onto his knee and asked him to make the bombings stop. Santa swallowed a lump in his throat and told her he’d try. Then he told her that the best thing she could do was to keep on dancing. “No matter what is going on in the world, keep on dancing,” he said. The best advice ever!

  11. Such a beautiful card! Your friend is so talented. The message is so inspiring. I try to dance the dance of life each day- some days it is a slow dance – some days I am tap dancing or doing free form dancing!
