Drink the wild air

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Embracing the totality of life is what it’s all about.

There’s plenty of darkness around us
but it’s warmer in the sunshine
and living there makes for a happier life.
Just ask my dogs, who love to bask in the warm grass and sunshine.

The other day Riley ran out into the cold, crisp
air of the backyard, lifted his face to the
sun and happily breathed in the wild air.

Emerson was on to something, ya think?
