Faith in action

December 2, 2009

Faith is a funny thing.

I have friends who walk through serious life trials and tribulations with the utmost faith that everything will be ok.

And it usually is.

It’s astonishing, actually. Every time I see it in action.

Then there’s me. The skeptic. Always thinking the worst. Feeling like thinking positively, counting chickens too early, can and will “jinx” things.

And yet, there are my friends, blithely walking through problem after problem, seemingly unscathed. As if they have the secret to life.

Maybe they do.
