Flying into Hurricane Earl

September 3, 2010

East bound and down...loaded up & truckin’…we’re gonna do what they say can’t be done … we got a long way to go and a short time to get there…” (thanks, Jerry Reed!)

I’m crossing the country tomorrow on an adventure that I’ll tell you about afterwards.
I’ll be back in about 48 hours.

That’s right. Coast to coast Friday, right toward Hurricane Earl, as a matter of fact, and back home on Sunday. Just me. My suitcase. And a few meaningful artifacts. Oh, and my Mac and my Kindle.

Southwest says my flight’s still going. We’ll see in the morning. Tropical storm winds at minimum. It was an adventure BEFORE Earl and it’s a bigger one how.

Think good thoughts.

And no, it’s not a job interview or anything like that. It’s an ADVENTURE!

Job interviews can be adventures, but they’re mostly work. This won’t be work.

No, it’s not athletic, are you crazy?

See ya later, alligators.
