    I think it means don’t throw stones if you live in glass houses (which is just as confusing).

This is difficult to interpret, but you have to keep two things in mind about Kerouc: He was the “father” of the Beat generation, which is known for their spontaneous prose… which didn’t always make sense, and he was a chronic alcoholic who died of cirrhosis of the liver when he was only 47. Enough said.
