Greif is such a personal thing and everyone has a way to deal with it, but reading a few good words, a kind nudge and a some inspirational lines like yours can go a long way.

  2. This is wonderful. One of the things that makes grief so hard to get through is how individual it is. We all process it differently, and there is no one size fits all way to get through it.

  3. Sheena says:

Thank you for saying it. Life is beautiful, it’s a blessing and we need to embrace it with all it’s ups and downs. I truly feel you poured your heart out in this blog and I hope enough people read it and know they’re each special.

  4. Today is the 39th anniversary of my mother’s death. This post was very timely for me.

Grief is one of those emotions that there is not a “fix all” or “one size fits all” solution for. Kind words, encouragement, and uplifting friends help a lot, but in the end, only time can heal everything. It’s so important to stay positive and remember that you can do anything if you believe in yourself and think you can.

Yes, indeed, I was strong and powerful for too long, now I just want to be weak and vulnerable for a change.Only if I could. But I got this 🙂

Thank you for this uplifting post! Although it may seem trivial to some, I am still mourning the loss of our dog, who passed away last month. The grief his death has caused is far more than I ever could have imagined.

  9. Grace says:

you start off with with the correct sentences! I have lost a lot of family member in a short period of time including my parents. I was always very strong as I was the pillar for the rest of the family to keep every thing intact. But there is actually nothing wrong wit being vulnerable sometimes.

Thank you for this. I think grief never really goes away. I’ve lost both my grandparents in the same year, while I was overseas. It’s a very lonely feeling, and sometimes all you need is just a hand to hold.

Everyone needs encouragement. When going through my divorce I had people telling me it was like going through a death. At that time I didn’t know what they meant. Reading this I understand what people were trying to tell me, you got this.

I still struggle with ongoing grief. While my grief is different than someone losing a relationship, death, ect, I have lost a life I once had. Chronic pain eats at you time and time again. It is reminders like this that give me a motivation to continue the fight.

  22. Eloise says:

this is great and inspiring! I have had MANY challenges in life, from a near death experience due to a major health scare (two times) to divorce, and other in-betweens I won’t bore you with ; ) it’s always nice to come across motivational reads such as thing because words are very powerful!

That mantra is important, particularly since we forget… Life can seem so overwhelming, like a wave knocking us down to the ground. Thank you for the reminder…
