Especially when they move as much as I have.

One of my closest friends from 30 years ago got in touch this week and we spent a very long time catching up on the phone last night.

The sound of her voice.

Our shared memories of times gone by, good and bad.

The happy days. The sad ones.

The stupidity of our youth.
