Heat Wave

May 16, 2009

We arrived in San Jose at the start of a world-class heat wave, highly unusual for spring. Los Gato was beautiful, though, and it was fun to reconnect with my old neighborhood and walk around on our first day. A lovely dinner Thursday night prepared by my friend, Marilyn.

After coffee with my Facebook friend, Greg, we began house hunting. We found a great older home in Los Gatos with good bones and a fabulous yard. It was badly in need of updating, but we liked it. Then we found smaller, but beautiful ranch, perfectly decorated and ready to move into, in Willow Glen. Right now, it’s the front runner. Really spectacular.

Today we’re looking in San Francisco, (where the weather will be somewhat cooler) including at the solarium home. Then dinner with a former client.

Sunday we’re escaping the heat by heading down to the Monterey peninsula, where we’ll have lunch, conduct some business and meet a friend.

A busy schedule. First & Last Husband LOVES the area.

More when I can. Happy weekend!

A scorcher here in the Bay Area. I worked up a real shvitz. Hope you are staying cool and have success house hunting. Pleased to hear FLH loves it.
