Infinite peace

I received an email from a relatively new Florida acquaintance this morning, signed Om shanti.

I had to look it up.

Om is a common meditation mantra (sound) and it apparently has no literal meaning. Some hold that it is the sound of the universe, infinity, the divine, or something like that.

Shanti means “peace”.

Infinite peace has a nice ring to it.
