Don’t you love being kind to others? Brightening their day, even if it means just a quick call, a thoughtful gesture, a sweet compliment?
Opportunities to do something kind and thoughtful are all around us. Some don’t take much effort at all, such as a supportive word or two when someone needs it. A hug.
Sometimes, I want to do more. My love of kindness was the catalyst for providing ways folks can do something kind and thoughtful even if they live far away.
The friend who learns she has cancer. An older person struggling with their health. A young woman who has lost her husband. The mid-life woman whose beloved pet has crossed the rainbow bridge.
These are life events that can’t be ignored, not if someone we love is going through them. So I encourage you to reach out in whatever way you can, to be there for that person.
And if you want to go a step further, I hope you’ll consider one of our gift packages. There are four different versions and prices. But what they all have in common is that they’re beautiful, thoughtful, useful and loving. We’ll even write our a pretty gift card with your personal message, and ship it for you.
You’ll find our gift packages at A Healing Spirit. Two are condolence gift packages and two are gift packages for those going through health challenges. They’re priced affordably and shipping in the U.S. is always free; to Canada shipping is discounted.
“So easy to buy and you ship free! They’re lovely, and the best part is that it’s not something others are likely to send her. Thank you.”
Yes, they are unique and beautiful gifts. The next time you have need for a condolence gift or a gift of encouragement,I hope you’ll take a look and consider them.
Those are great ideas. I can’t tell you how many times I have struggled to figure out what to send someone in an instance like if they have had a recent loss. Thanks for sharing!
This is such a nice suggestions for gifts. I always wonder what to give to people who lost loved ones aside from comfort. I think this will be a great help.
I always go out of my way to be kind to others. Whether it’s at the gym or at the store; we don’t know what kind of day a person is going through. I feel it’s important to share a little kindness. It definitely can go a long ways! Granted, I don’t go up and hug some random stranger, but a smile and a hello can make all the difference! Thank you for sharing this! What beautiful and caring gifts!
I think these gift packages are a wonderful idea!! Sometimes I never know what to get people, especially for condolences and love that this is an option now!!
I don’t think wisdom really exists without kindness as such. Knowledge can exist without kindness. And with knowledge, one can be cruel. But wisdom requires kindness to be true wisdom or else it’s not really wisdom.
That is such a beautiful quote. I love hearing new quotes and seeing how they can inspire my day. I print out my fave ones and display them in my home.
Kindness goes a long way. You just never know what someone is going through and just smiling or say hi helps tremendously. Have you heard of the kindness project? It is a cool phenomal way to spread kindness by leaving a cute painted rock with a message. It was started to help spread kindness to a random stranger.
These are really thoughtful gifts. They are so unique! I know any recipient would find them to be treasures, especially during the lowest times in their lives.
These packages are a beautiful way to connect with loved ones who are going through a difficult time! A kind gesture, regardless of how small or big, can go a long way. Thanks for sharing this beautiful reminder.

I love this post. Kindness is so important and I am careful to be kind to everyone every day. I wish more people would try harder to be kind.

Such thoughtful gifts, but as you say, the best gift is kindness!
My daughter and I were talking about kindness and how people can have so much hate in their heart. It baffles the mind.
