Thanks to FH, I can sit on my butt all day and contemplate my navel. I can read all day if I want. I can write, blog or sleep. I can watch DVDs. I can cook.

Gee, sounds idyllic, no?

So then I have to wonder why today, when the chairman of my university department called and offered me yet another course to teach in the fall, I agreed.

Clearly, I have a low tolerance for sitting on my ass.

Two different courses. One is the same writing course I’ve been teaching and the other is the new one. Now I’m teaching MWF.

It’s a bit more than pin money, now. Maybe a few mortgage payments.
