I once had a tropical themed girls party for my firends and read a childrens book with this exact idea; i have to dig it out to find the name. it was a great party. i made coconut shrimp and other good apps, and had tropical drinks. we played 2 truths and a lie game; fun. beth
love this idea, beth!
When my kids were little, we would plan beach picnics on the family room floor. I’d throw out a blanket, crank up a space heater to it was really warm, get a really bright light bulb in a goose necked lamp to shine down on us, beach attire was required! Wed unpack our picnic basket full of goodies and complain about the ants. After eating, we’d play with our beach ball, and enjoy other beachy games. Way fun, and a great way to put a little fun into a gloomy winter day.
Thanks for reminding me.
