Make mistakes: from Postsecret

May 30, 2010

Mistakes made when we’re young are an indication of living life to the fullest, that’s what I think. The world is far more forgiving of youthful blunders, slips, misjudgments than we think. Mistakes made later in life when we “should have known better” are a little harder to explain away.

Youth is gone in the blink of an eye. So I’ve always told my college students that this is their time to do everything, take risks, to make mistakes.

Most of it’s pretty erasable.
