Hmmm – I’ll have to think about this. I love music and I’ve never really thought about having a theme song for my life. I do have that song you mentioned playing in my head right now, so that’s a good thing.
That is a great song and what a message. I love Earth, Wind and Fire so i would use one of their songs to capture my life and ideas.
Great post. Music has always bern an important part of my life.It has helped me deal with chronic health issues. Music has amazing healing powers. I have always tended to be drawn to songs that had a positive message or message of courage, not giving up, etc. Sara Bareilles’ “King of Anything” resonates with me. The groups that stand out from over the years are Styx, ABBSA, Eagles, and Moody Blues.
Whups! Cyberspace messed with my post. Those typos weren’t there before, honestly. lol

Husby’s and mine would be ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ by the legendary Elivs. But mine alone? ‘Happy’ by Pharrell Williams!
Sad that I can’t spell Elvis . ..
“I Will Survive”
“Still Standing” by Elton John was released in 1983, a particularly difficult time in my life. Over the years, I’ve always come back to that upbeat positive song when I hit a rough patch.

This is such a fun challenge. I like all different genres of music, including country, hip hop, pop, classical… My theme song would definitely change based on the mood I’m in on any given day!
India.Arie is my go to in many situations when I need to feel grounded. Strength, Courage and Wisdom is my song. Many others follow it, but if I had to pick one, it would be this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVbvWr4kt_A
‘Love what you do’ by the Divine Comedy. Says it all…
What a great choice of topic! Mine might be “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey, but I could also think of a few others.
Wow, that is an interesting question to ponder. I love music, but never really thought about a theme song for my life.
I’m not sure what my theme song to my life would be. I will have to think about that one for a bit!
What is my theme song for my life. Oh my goodness that is deep. I think I’d go with Call and answer by Bare Naked Ladies. 🙂
Music is definitely something that runs in my family. Your song seems so inspiring! I can’t quite pinpoint a song to my life, I feel like there are so many fantastic ones to choose from!!
Ours is A Million Years. It’s the song we danced in our wedding reception and the same song my husband used to serenade me when he proposed for marriage.
Every day it is different, but today my theme song is Celebrate, Another Day of Living!
Well, Donovan created a built-in theme song for me. But seeing as how I appear to do all the care-taking, I think my true theme song is Lean On Me.
I would be the “Dancing queen” by Abba, I love all of their songs. Make your own kind of music is a good one too.
