obama verbiage

October 30, 2009

I’m grateful that American voters came to their senses and elected a compassionate and bright man.

And hopeful that the nation can look beyond unreasonable expectations of perfection and inevitable human imperfections to see the greater good.

Bush left us a damaged nation. The solutions are imperfect. But overall, I’m happy with President Obama and the general direction of the nation. A feeling I haven’t had since President Clinton.

I still miss Bill and am not ashamed to admit it. He was a better president than man.

I much prefer that to the last guy, who was neither a good president nor a good man.

I know that many in my current socio-economic status are not happy about footing the bill to help others. But I have been on both sides of this fence and can see it differently.

President Obama is shaping his legacy. We’ll see. But looks good so far.
