While I’m asking questions this week, here’s another one.

When did our name begin with this symbol: @?

My mother did not name me @Carol.

My dog is not @Riley.

My friends are not @Patrick, @Marilyn, @ Joanne.

And they are barely @ home.

I do not shop at @Trader Joe’s.

What a silly affectation.

One with which I am @ odds.
