I’ve started writing solo performances late in my writing career, but they’ve quickly become my most enjoyable means of expression. Especially comedy. And yes, I perform them, too!
Carol Goes Camping
Below are two excerpts from a full-length comedic solo show I’m working on that chronicles the hilarious camping misadventures of an inveterate indoorsy woman: me. And there’s more to come, as I’m working on an hour+ piece that I hope to stand up and do on stage by 2023. These excerpts are works in progress, performed via Zoom as part of classwork for courses I took at the Marsh Theatre in San Francisco during 2020.
