Baby Makenzie, my young friend’s preemie, has been doing well, but this morning, her mom sent this note out:

Please pray for Makenzie, her doctor just called and said her oxygen level keeps dropping so they are getting ready to do an xray because they think shes getting an infection.

We ask for your prayers and positive thoughts for Makenzie, born last week at 2 lbs 10 oz, but had been doing so well she was off the ventilator and breathing on her own. We all know that being in the hospital makes you vulnerable to infection….so let’s pray this baby can fight it off. Thank you.

Dear God,
We ask that you bless Baby Makenzie and give her the strength to heal and grow and go home to her parents healthy and vigorous … and that you bless her family and protect them from all anxieties.
