Red plates

January 30, 2010

Darling husband is color-blind.

But he does see red, and I mean that here in the literal sense.

So yesterday we scored some every-day dinnerware in red.

I like it.

As I told one of the furniture salespeople who kept trying to sell us sofas in beige, brown, taupe and grey, “I’m just not a beige person.”

“Truer words were never spoken,” said my husband.

And since he’s known me since I was 18 years old, he should know.
