Her past life surprised even her

July 17, 2017

regressionHow is it that two people click as friends when they seem to have little in common? I have no idea. But that’s what happened with me and Rena. Somehow, we knew that we could trust one another with stuff we might not trust most people with.

So I wasn’t surprised when she volunteered for a past life regression.  I just didn’t know the backdrop, nor what was going on in her head when she did:

During this search for our family’s ancestry, I ended up with more questions than answers about who I am on the inside and what I believe in with regards to my spirituality. My father’s ancestral storyline is full of young and tragic deaths and since I don’t believe in heaven or hell I’ve always wondered what happens next.

My friend Carol Cassara, is a hypnotherapist and past life regressionist. She offered to do a past life regression session by Skype. Oh, the irony! It was the perfect opportunity meeting perfect timing.

I’m not going to lie, my anxiety was out of this world. Letting go and turning over the reins of your thought process is a very personal experience and since I didn’t know what to expect, I was scared. I’ve always had a fear of the unknown. I chickened out the first time and rescheduled (sorry Carol!). If I was ever going to do this it had to be now. I could do it and feel safe because I know Carol and I know I could trust her explicitly. It had to be with someone I trusted.

So was she able to access a past life? Would I be posting this if she hadn’t? (Maybe. But she did!)   If you’ve always wondered if you’ve had another life, you’re going to be interested in her story. I’ll let her tell you, herself. And by the way, this was a Skype regression. They go very well!

And if you’re interested in a past life regression of your own, email me at Carol@AHealingSpirit.org and mention RENA.. We’ll talk about it, and if you want to go forward, you’ll get a 25 percent discount off of a regression. This discount (and regression) is available to anyone in the world as we can use Skype.

But first, here’s Rena’s story:

Searching For Answers In The Past

  1. I’ve always been interested in past lives. I can see how it could lead to more questions than answers. You start to think about the history of that information and what else might have been there that you didn’t find out.

Haven’t heard about this past life regression. I have done extensive work on both my husband and my side of the families. I feel fortunate to know where I came from, why I am here and where I am going after this life.

  3. This is so fascinating

  4. Marysa says:

Sounds like a very interesting experience. I’ve never been to a hypnotherapist, and I don’t think I know anyone who has gone through it. Glad to hear you were able to go through with it!

This is really interesting that there’s actually something like this. I’m actually afraid of the unknown as well. Although I sit there and can freak myself out thinking of what’s going to happen, I also am worried and scared of knowing the past and the future. Who knows? Maybe when I’m closer to death?

  6. Thanks for sharing my story, Carol! I’m so ready for another one soon!

  7. Ellen Dolgen says:

I find this”past life” concept interesting. Many times I have wondered if I knew someone in a previous life because I just seem to sense a deeper connection than is possible from knowing someone a short time. I love to read these stories……..thanks for sharing.

  8. Wonderful story and so glad she had a positive outcome. You rock!

  9. Jeni says:

What a brilliant post! I’ve always wondered about past lives, who we used to be, and future lives who we will become. It’s such an unending realm of thought. Your story has a great outcome and that’s awesome!

  10. Amber Myers says:

This is so interesting. I’ve always thought past lives was a real thing. You just never know!

  11. Marcie W. says:

I love the idea of a past life regression, especially as I continue to dive deeper into my self-conscious and spirituality. I plan to keep this in mind as a way to treat myself to something special in the future.

  12. Very interesting! Rena’s a braver soul than I. Delighted it was positive for her. This is great: “Listening to the recordings, I can feel my joints release their tight grip like the pressure of opening a valve.”

  13. A Lynne says:

Like Rena, I know very little of my family’s history. My parents never really gave me much detail of who my ancestors were. There is one grandparent who died before I was born, and I couldn’t even tell you what they looked like.

I’m happy that she found a friend in you, someone to trust. I am the kind of person who has to keep in control, so I don’t think I could trust my thoughts with someone else in such a vulnerable way. That alone is a gift you both should cherish.

  14. I’ve read books about this before. I also learned about it psychology. It’s an interesting topic.

  15. Nelu Mbingu says:

Wow this seems really interesting… I don’t know some people might be sceptical.

  16. Joely Smith says:

As a professional past life regressionist myself I do believe in them and have also had my own done. Granted one must believe in reincarnation to believe in past lives. So glad you were able to get one of your own done! How exciting!

    • Well, in our training, you don’t have to believe in reincarnation –you can believe in Jung’s Active Imagination– the subconscious–having messages for you.

  17. Sarah says:

This sounds very interesting to me! I’ve always wondered about a past life and I think this would be so cool to do. Thanks for sharing with us!

  18. This is fascinating. I always love reading these stories, and am intrigued by the whole idea of what we can learn from the past.

  19. ricci says:

I can’t decide if I believe in past lives or not. I did think this was an interesting post though!!

  20. Julie Syl says:

I have an interest to know about past life and the future but I’m also afraid to know that as well. This is really fascinating post.

  21. This is very interesting and intriguing. I’ve always been curious about past life stories.

  22. Kelly Reci says:

I always have this feeling of deja vu,like when i go to a place first time, but it felt like i was there before. So I am really interested and fascinated with past life regression or reincarnation. i believe there is really a past life and when a person dies, his soul will be reincarnated to another person..I want to try this but I am scared ha ha. Anyway thank you for sharing this.

  23. Farrah less says:

Reading your post sends a lot of interesting thoughts, I personally interested with past life I always want to know also about the incarnation not sure if that’s related on this topic,

  25. Vicky says:

I’ve heard about these kinds of things before and am always intrigued by people’s experiences with this. It sounds like it can really open some doors for some people to move forward.

  26. I find this subject fascinating although I would definitely feel nervous.

  27. sara says:

  28. natalie z says:

This is an intriguing concept about past lives. I think this be eye-opening and terrifying at the same time. I tend to be too logical at times though so the unknown is difficult to grasp at times.
