Seattle-bound at dawn

August 23, 2010

Lots of sun and heat are forecast for Seattle this week. A bit disappointing but we’re on our way in the morning!

It’ll be an easy four days, walking around, drinking coffee and taking the ferry over to Bainbridge Island, where I hope to see a former colleague and her husband.

And thank you, Amy, my Washington state pen pal, for the list of fun things to do in Seattle you sent in your letter. It’s packed in my carry-on.

I’ll be using that tiny little PC I hate so much to blog so….we’ll see how far I get. But that’s my plan. So check in and see how things are going–I get lonesome without you!
