She was the person to whom I vented, confided and discussed. It was her opinion I wanted in all important things, even if I knew I wasn’t going to agree.

And she wanted mine, too.

She died in December 2015.  So Wiz was right.

It’s been such a long day without her.

We were pretty complete with each other. But still. If I’d known it was her last day I would have said more.

But I wasn’t afraid to feel into my grief–hell, I was already feeling into it without even trying. I can cry just thinking of her. Yes, even after more than a year.

But participating in this exercise? This guided imagery? It was an amazing experience.  I did it for my friend and I know I’ll do it again because telling her all that I did was the most moving experience I’ve had in a long time..  I did it for my mother–it’s been 18 years since she’s passed and I had a lot to tell her. Soon, I’ll do it for my father. I love the audio because I can use it again and again for any of my loved ones on the other side–even my pets.
