Jane’s tapenade recipe

May 31, 2016

tapenade-recipeMy friend, Jane, made a delicious tapenade recipe for St. Patrick’s Day and then left town the next day, leaving us the leftovers. How lucky were we?!  And you’re lucky, too, because I’m going to share Jane’s tapenade recipe with you today. It’s super-easy and a great appetizer for any occasion.

Jane’s Tapenade Recipe

INGREDIENTS

1 small can sliced black olives
7 large pimento olives
1 clove garlic
2 Tablespoons capers
2 Tablespoons olive oil
Pepper and oregano to taste

Wash the salt off olives and capers to reduce the amount of salt.

Chop all ingredients and mix together. Add the olive oil and stir until well mixed.

It was decimated before I could even get a photo.

Serve molded or in a small bowl. You can serve it on crackers or a good bread.  And by the way, it makes a great sandwich.
