The Bodyguard

December 7, 2009

Chows were bred to protect the emperors of China.

They are fiercely protective.

They don’t bark often, but when they do: holy crap. Deep. Serious. Intimidating.

Puddin’ is Riley’s bodyguard. She puts herself between him and any perceived threat.

She smiles and wags her tail. But she can turn on a dime if she thinks one of us is in trouble.

Gentle and sweet, a bit aloof, she is very clearly our family protector.
