I’ve spent the better part of the past 5 days in bed, reading bad fiction and watching the vast wasteland called “cable TV.”

I did, however, manage to skip the Jon & Kate + 8 marathon in favor of The Deadliest Catch marathon. I’m fascinated by the life of a commercial fisherman on the Bering Sea. The “deadly” Bering Sea.

I figured, after 4 days, I’d seen them all. But at 4pm, a new set of them began. There seems to be a bottomless pit of episodes available.

So. Can we talk? I mean, are these guys “real men” or what? Manly men. Rough, tough creampuffs, as FLH would say.

Well, commercial’s over. Got to get back to my guys. Later.
