The end is not really the end

It’s a concept that’s hard to grasp,
this “the end isn’t really the end but the beginning” thing.

What I think it means is this:

Sometimes, something must go
in order to build something more beautiful.

That we have the opportunity to learn
from the first go-around.

That if we take that opportunity
and actually do learn,
we can replace it with something even better.

It could be an improved version of the same thing.
Or something brand new.
Better.

But, hey:
it’s not a guarantee.
It’s not magic.
It takes some effort. Some work.

Otherwise?
Same thing, different day.
