The Purpose of Life

What is the purpose of life? I believe that the purpose of life is to be happy.

It’s the question of the hour, isn’t it?

Of course, finding one’s purpose can be a luxury that those concerned with filling survival needs can’t afford. But once we moved higher than survival on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, it began to be more important to us as a society.

It’s still important. From books about the purpose-driven life to quiet thoughts on a mountaintop, finding one’s purpose is almost a spiritual quest.
Actually, for many evangelicals, it IS a spiritual quest. Just ask Pastor Rick Warren.
