The silliness of sexting

June 22, 2013
The scene: Group of women of a certain age,
in car coming back from a day in the city
discussing this riveting 21st century topic.
With much hilarity.
If you thought cybersex was awkward,
can you imagine trying to peck out sexy talk
on your smart phone?
she asked,
and the car’s occupants broke out in laughter.
And then what?
Wouldn’t you need a third hand?
I know it’s supposed to be “sexy.” But I’m puzzled:
How exactly does it work?

I love fun sex. But seriously.

Is there anything as silly as sexting?

  1. Susan Cooper says:

I laughed. Your post does make a good point. 🙂

  2. I have a friend in her 30s who occasionally mentions sexting. It’s not like phone sex. She and her husband will send each other messages about what they will do when they ARE together. It helps build anticipation for the real thing. Sounds really sexy to me.
