The step-pets

August 18, 2009

Well, I went over and met the step-pets this morning. I’d have posted photos, except that my cellphone stopped synching emails this morning, and AT&T did a hard reset, which lost all my photos. So imagination will have to suffice.

OMG, they are the SWEETEST things! and I can’t wait to have them all in the little Tampa house.

Puddin’ recognized me right away and came over for pets with a toothy smile and wagging tail.
Sweet old Tinker, what a darling she is! I know she is old but I’m already attached to her and hope she hangs in there.
Little He was promoted as a lazy hound, but he is kind of high strung–the kind of dog that can jump high–imagine him and Riley, better yet, DON’T imagine them! He’s adorable.

The cats–Gigi is petite and mew-ey, cute as a button. Rufus is independent and very good looking.

M. makes me laugh: he sometimes acts as though I’d never seen a pet before and was worried when I picked Gigi up–I keep forgetting he has no knowledge of the extensive cattery I’ve kept over the past 30 years.

And clearly has some sort of brain damage that prevents him from remembering the many years I worked with the Leon County Humane Society–during our first marriage.

I’m looking forward to having everyone all together. And soon!
