Remember these VW vans? They were ubiquitous in the Sixties andI remember them well!  Today, our Best of Boomers crew is sharing tips, tricks, wisdom and even a smile or two.

On The Survive and Thrive Boomer Guide, Rita R. Robison, consumer journalist, writes about how often you should change the blankets on your bed. The answer is four times a year. Robison got the idea to write about blankets because her article on how often to change your bed sheets is one of the most popular on her blogs. The bed sheet answer is weekly. Laura Lee Carter decided to write about the oppression of perfectionism this week, and the joy of finally taking the risks that improved everything in her life. In On Living Life Too Carefully she offers up her thoughts on the joy of being fully herself finally! She also chose to share some new information she gained, about using prescribed and well-regulated experiences with psychedelic drugs to escape the life-threatening addictions of heroin and cigarette smoking, the two most addictive drugs in our world today.

It is a nice change nowadays when we find an interesting news story that makes us smile. Meryl Baer of Six Decades and Counting discovered an article offering an innovative solution to one of life’s persistent dilemmas. Read about the problem and one solution in her post Toilet Paper Predicament.

Tom Sightings reveals how sometimes he has to first look for one thing he’s misplaced, before he can start looking for something else that he’s lost.   2. I really hope that they find a cure for Alzheimers in our lifetime because it can’t be nice to go through I am sure. On the plus side I am off to read that bed sheet and blanket post x

  3. I love these VW Vans! I owned a VW van when I had little kids!I really wish they would find a cure for Alzheimer’s. It’s a horrible disease. 🙁
