Unto us a child is born

December 24, 2012
More than 2,000 years ago, a baby was born in Bethlehem.
Maybe in a manger surrounded by animals.
Maybe he was visited by three wise men bearing gifts.

Maybe he was the Son of God.

Whether you believe he was the Son of God,
a wise teacher
or just a good man
that birth was a miraculous thing.

Because here we are, 2,000 years later,
remembering him
and trying to live in his image.

A child was born 2,000 years ago
and the world was forever changed.

And that’s no small thing.

  1. Truth. And what a wonderful blessed truth it is.

  2. Very true – the world was never the same once He was born (and that was a very good thing). sometimes I think that we need another blessed event to set things right again. We sure have gone astray.
