What makes a happy day?

May 4, 2010

When a dear friend gets good news from her doctor.

When a rockin’ young person finishes her graduate degree.

When I can give that rockin’ young person a glowing recommendation for a job.

When I can give a former client some good advice.

When I write a few words on the memoir and some of them are good.

When I read perfectly evocative prose by a talented writer.

When Riley only barks a little.

When I survive a session with my young trainer.

When three of the books I put on reserve are ready at the library.

When my doctor sends me an email that makes me laugh.

When M. and I start and end the day with a smile.

You can roll the dice any way, any day.

This is how I rolled them today.
