What really matters

January 3, 2016

Velveteen-rabbitThis is a tough time of year for many people, especially those who felt left out of the holiday celebration, maybe because of depression, or family problems or something else. When you feel left out, it doesn’t much matter why. Or what time of year.

But this time of year can be the hardest.

The beautiful children’s story of the Velveteen Rabbit has provided hope, support and inspiration to so many of its readers over the years, and not just to children. I love this lesson and present it with the hope that you’ll share it where you see fit.

Thank you.

‘because once you are Real you can’t be ugly, except to people who don’t understand.’ Love that line. A lesson for us all. Thanks.
