It seems like just yesterday I was a senior in high school, walking to the bus stop, secure in my early acceptance to college and oh-so ready to be an adult.

Where did the time go? Could my mother really have been gone for 11 years and my father for more than two?

Yesterday I realized that in a short 20+ years, I’ll be 80 years old. Eighty years old! WTF??? I certainly don’t feel my age

But it wasn’t. It was a very long time ago. And in only
